About Legoland Discovery Centre

Lego has taken over the world, and it is no surprise that Berlin, one of the world’s major cities, boasts a Legoland Discovery Centre that inspires Lego Enthusiasts of all ages by constructing worlds of creativity, imagination, and endless fun. Located in the city’s heart, this indoor attraction is more than just a destination for simple Lego shopping – it’s a discovery.

It brings interactive exhibits, thrilling rides, and impressive Lego constructions. Visitors can immerse themselves in a Lego experience like no other – from building their creations to exploring themed play areas and witnessing spectacular Lego displays; the Legoland Discovery Centre promises a wonder like no other. Plus, it’s perfect for the whole family, and you can never lose out on buying a lego set for taking back home, too, because it’s the perfect souvenir.

To understand Berlin’s Legoland Discovery Centre, it’s also relevant to experience the history of Lego itself because going to the source material makes it much more immersive and touching. For that, we must rewind to the 1930s, when a carpenter named Ole began to make and sell wooden toys, which he thought were more interesting than his former work. These toys spurred his very own company, which, through a company competition, was narrowed down to and then named Lego (the most iconic toy name these days).

For decades, Lego has consistently improved its creations under the guidance of its founder and creative director. In 2007, the Legoland Discovery Centre opened in Berlin, becoming a notable attraction in the city. Those visiting Legoland Discovery Center should plan their visit carefully, noting the center’s opening hours, which are 10 A.M. daily. Closing times vary, typically at 6 P.M., extending to 7 P.M. on weekends and occasionally shortened to 4:15 P.M. depending on the center, and you can check out a Legoland Discovery Center map to find out the range of possible activities.

Legoland Discovery Centre Tickets

Legoland Berlin Discovery Centre tickets come in different types, but they all give you access to the center. Still, some are limited, and you’ll want to note the details before considering which to buy. Your first option is the single tickets, the basic first choice and most feasible if you only visit once (though, we promise, you’ll want to visit more). The single tickets range from €21.00 to €25.00 depending on online purchase and more aspects.

These range according to the privileges you’re affording, from a basic entrance ticket to those with digital photo passes or even paired tickets with Madam Tussauds Berlin. The first of these ranges from €23.00 to €27.00, and the second starts from €46.00 up to €67.00. Otherwise, you can purchase an annual pass because this is a brilliant option for the more interested visitors who will be in Berlin for a longer period and want to spend more and more time at the Legoland Discovery Center, which costs between €38.00 to €63.00.
